How to Connect Roku
- Make sure your iPhone or iPad and Roku device are connected to the same network.
- As of Roku OS 14.1, Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Control by mobile apps must be set to “Enabled”.
- Return to the Roku Home screen and let the app discover the device.

Common Roku Connection Problems
If you cannot connect to your TV
- Re-check that Control by mobile apps is set to “Enabled”.
- Keep Roku awake on the Home screen while discovering it.
- Make sure both devices are on the same local network.
- Guest, hotel, school, or other isolated networks can block discovery between devices.
